Should I Put the Prompt in My Essay?
Should I Put the Prompt in My Essay? The question is, 'Should I put the prompt in my essay?' The answer is yes, you should. It is a great way to create some extra interest in your essay. When the teacher wants you to do some reading or answer a question, it usually goes something like this: 'Tell me about yourself in 500 words or less. How does this relate to the topic of your first paragraph of your college application?' That is a little too easy for a college-bound student.A college-bound student should know how to speak well enough to properly express themselves in a simple manner so as to make it clear what they are saying. An essay is the best way to communicate and really put your thoughts on paper. Without writing, a student cannot do this. So, a college-bound student's eyes will naturally glance up when they are asked a question, and the use of the prompt in the essay creates a connection between the student and the reader. 'I just remembered something. Please tell me what you r emember about this matter, especially where it relates to the topics of your essays.' This, too, is a lot easier than the forced reading you might have expected. The writing prompt in the essay will not be limited to a chapter or a paragraph. It should be used throughout the whole essay. If a writer uses the prompt sparingly throughout an essay, they are creating a connection between the student and the reader that make it much easier to come to grips with the larger essay.Prompts also create the interest that students look for in their letters of recommendation. Letters of recommendation need to be personal and concise. If the writer writes, 'You may know that I have been volunteering to tutor children in third grade through fourth grade at a local church and nursery school,' then that is not a very compelling letter.Writing a prompt in your essay helps make your essay something of a walking essay, making it much easier to describe why you are a good candidate for admission to a col lege application. Most admissions officers do not want to read a 'college application' essay. It is the writer's job to ensure that the essay is enjoyable and interesting.Prompting your college application is a fun exercise. The result is a better essay and a stronger college application.
